With the rapid development of data center, the super-large data center is planning to move from 100G to 400G.Mass deployment is expected to begin in 2019, increasing the reliability, manageability, and compatibility requirements of data center cabling.
The reliability, manageability and compatibility of cabling are the most basic guarantees for speed improvement in data centers.
In view of the current situation of data center, MITS launched the solution of "High Density Fiber Cabling System based on the 16F MPO Connector ".This solution is simple and easy to manage. While meeting the existing requirements of 40G/100G, it also provides a solid solution for the upcoming deployment of 400G Ethernet. It will reduce customers' repeated investment in fiber resources and realize customers' maximum cost control advantages.
Advantage :
- Low insertion loss and high return loss ,meeting the standards of 400G fiber transmission.
- The 16-core MPO fiber optic connector which is compliant with OSFP-SR8 and QSFP-DD standards, compatible with existing 40G, 100G fiber transmission through the fanout cable assembly and Cassette.
- The trunk cable is based on 16F fiber which reduces the complexity of installation and deployment; and achieving 100% utilization of the fiber cable.
- All of products meet the relevant standards of environmental policy, environmental protection and flame retardant.
HD-Fiber Patch Panel
HD-Fiber Optic Patch Panels are applied to MDA, IDA or HDA area of data center. It is designed for the management of MPO-LC Module and MPO Adapter Panel . It can be installed in 19-inch rack and cabinet.

HD 16F MPO-LC Module
16F MPO-LC modules are used to break out the 16F MPO Connectors terminated on trunk cables into LC connectors to facilitate patching into the SFP transceiver of the system equipment ports.
The module is used together with 1HU, 2HU and 4HU HD-Fiber Distribution Frame.
The LC adaptor panel in the front of the module box is used for connecting the equipment or between the module box, and MPO adapter at rear is used for connecting MPO pre-connected trunk cables.
Features & Benefits
- The front panel of the module box is equipped with 8 duplex LC adapters, and the rear panel is equipped with 2 MPO adapter ports which can be equipped with 1 16F MPO adapter or 2 8F MPO adapters.
- The module box can be installed or removed from the front and rear of HD-Fiber Patch Panel.
- Density with LC interface:
- 144F for 1HU;
- 288F for 2HU;
- 576F for 4HU.
- 100% pre-termination to ensure the low insertion loss for demanding high-speed networks.

The 6 port MPO connector panel is mainly used for jumping pre-terminal main cable and the fanout cable of the data center. The adapter panel is used with module is used together with 1HU, 2HU and 4HU HD-Fiber Distribution Frame

This specification distribution cable is used for the jumper connection between data center equipment and the main trunk cable. It often used with 16F trunk cable. The 16F MPO connector is branched into two 8-core MPO connectors, one end is connected to the 16F MPO trunk, and the other end is connected to two channels of 40G or 100G transmission. LC Duplex Jumper Cable |
LC duplex jumpers use the unique Uni-boot LC connector and 2.0mm round cable. With the bending insensitive fiber, it has super bending performance.
