Telecom Phone Line product solution

Silvertel has developed a range of analog telecom interface modules that are small and easy to use, yet require very few extra components. Available in single in line (SIL) or dual in line (DIL) packages.

SLIC module

Subscriber Line Interface Circuit (SLIC) modules are used for analog telephone line interface applications. They enable signals to be transmitted and received, power to be fed to the line and monitoring of the line condition. The modules are used in applications such as ISDN Terminal Adaptors, Internet Telephony (VoIP), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), Wireless Local Loop (WLL), Fixed Cellular Terminals (FCT) and Small Office Home Office (SOHO).

PSTN module

PSTN or Trunk interfaces are also known as Foreign exchange Office (FXO) circuits, Data Access Arrangements (DAA) or Central Office Interface Circuits (COIC). These modules meet the requirements of CTR21, FCC Pt.68, UL60950, AS NZ3260 and AS ACIF S043. The ability to provide a programmable d.c. mask, line and network impedances gives our PSTN modules the flexibility to be used in any market. On-Hook reception allows support for Caller Line ID and by using transformer isolation this provides high common-mode rejection for use in ungrounded systems as well.

SLICS

Ag1171

Ag1171 is a low cost single channel SIL SLIC with a fully integrated DC-DC converter to generate all necessary battery and ringing voltages. The module only requires a single +3.3V to +5V DC supply. Ag1171 is perfect for low line count, short loop applications, such as Wireless Local Loop Terminals (WLL), emergency elevator telephones, Fixed Wireless Terminals (FWT) and Internet Telephony (VoIP).

Ag1170

The world's first +3.3V or +5V only ringing SLIC. Ag1170 has a built in DC-DC converter to generate all of the tricky telecom and ringing voltages on board - all from a single +3.3V (or +5V) supply. Ag1170 is available in SIL or DIL formats, ideal for VoiP applications.

Ag1110

A low cost long loop SLIC, in a space-saving SIL package, requiring very few external components. Suitable for high line count applications such as Centrol Office, Digital Loop Carrier and Pair Gain systems. An industrial temperature version is also available on request.

PSTN/Trunk Interfaces, FXO, DAAs or COICs

Ag2130

A low cost PSTN Interface in a SIL package. Boasting many features including a basic barrier on-chip. Can be used in systems without a ground, or in applications where common mode interference is very high. Can also be operated at +3.3V or +5V supply.

Ag2120

A highly integrated COIC in a DIL or SIL package. Boasting many features including a basic barrier on-chip. Can be used in systems without a ground, or in applications where common mode interference is very high. Can also be operated at +3.3V or +5V supply.
