The Metanoia Communications VDSL/VDSL2 solutions FALCON and MERLIN offer an economic solution for service providers to provide data, voice and video to the telephone subscriber at the home or business. VDSL/VDSL2 is an emerging technology designed to provide data rates in excess of 100 Mbit over existing subscriber loops. The company has actively participated in Committee T1E1, ETSI, IEEE 802.3 and the ITU-T to ensure that our products will adhere to all international standards.

Falcon: Metanoia Communication offers state-of-the-art communication IC's for VDSL2. The product family includes complete chip-set solutions for both Central Office (CO) and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).

FALCON: Metanoia's first family of end-to-end VDSL/ VDSL2 (12a) solutions, is compliant with the ITU-T VDSL2 standard (G.993.2). It consists of a single-channel DMT with 8a, 12a, and 17a profile and a 12 MHz bandwidth AFE with built in LD.

Leveraging the maximum bandwidth of up to 12 MHz, FALCON drives 100Mb/60Mb over copper wires within 1000ft. Metanoia's FALCON offers a high performance VDSL2 solution with minimum extra devices and very competitive price for system design.

Merlin: Metanoia Communication offers state-of-the-art communication IC's for VDSL2. The product family includes complete chip-set solutions for both Central Office (CO) and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).

MERLIN: Metanoia's newest family of end-to-end VDSL2(DMT) solutions, is compliant with the ITU-T VDSL2 standard (G.993.2). It consists of a four-channel CO solution for central office deployment and a single-channel chipset for CPE applications.

MERLIN provides flexible bandplans as well as service settings to allow a single hardware platform to serve global deployment. Metanoia's MERLIN offers a high performance VDSL2 solution with minimum extra devices and very competitive price for system design.

The Metanoia Communications VDSL modules includes the CO (Central Office) site module HOPE, the CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) site module AWARD and bridge mode module AERO. These modules deliver everything needed to quickly deploy a high speed IP based network for providing high speed Internet access and video-on-demand services, in addition to voice services. The compact, cost-effective form factors offers systems integrators, small business and building owners an attractive LRE solution.

	Hope : The Metanoia Communications HOPE is a VDSL module with one Ethernet port (on1 RJ-45 connector) and eight VDSL ports (on RJ-11 connector or BNC connector).
