RAD Chooses Ethernity's ENET3000 Access Flow Processor

Ethernity's ENET3000 Access Flow Processor incorporated into RAD's next generation Ethernet access product family

Lod, Israel – March 27th , 2008 – Ethernity Networks Ltd, a leading supplier of Access Flow Processors, today announced that RAD Data Communications, an industry-leading manufacturer of innovative telecommunications access solutions, has incorporated Ethernity's ENET3000 access flow processor into its next generation Carrier Ethernet offering.

The ENET3000 flow processor was verified to support MEF9 and MEF 14, comes with deterministic performance and represents a low latency of 4.6 µs for 80 bytes packets, full 802.1ag OAM support, traffic monitoring, 50ms flow base path protection, queue per EVC, hierarchical traffic management and scheduling, integrated switch, ACL, VLAN range per port, and L2/L3 loopbacks.
